Spending time in the District with the people of our community is always enjoyable. The day began with a townhall meeting in Zion, then Beach Park and finally Winthrop Harbor. From there it was on to a barbeque at the American Legion Post 865.
As a State Senator and citizen, it is always an honor to spend time with veterans and have the opportunity to say thanks.
