Members of Energy Solutions along with State Senator Michael Bond and State Representative Joanne Osmond, met with labor leaders to discuss the proposed decomissioning of the Zion nuclear power plant.
The proposed date to begin the project is October of this year and it will mean hundreds of jobs. The proposal is under review by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and other agencies awaiting approval.
